Retro patterns
The problem with retro patterns is that they are hard to find in good condition or cost a mint.
Thankfully the pattern companies are reissuing some of the oldies.
I picked up these two the other day. I was in a 40's mood!

Knitters and Sewers needed
Helping the Australian Somali Women's Healthcare Community Foundation
Knitters and Sewers needed.
From 2012 the Multicultural Women's Sewing Group is happy to be supporting a Somali women's beginner sewing class.
They meet Monday, Thursday and Saturday at the Elderly Citizens Club in Melrose St North Melbourne, from about 5 pm to 8 pm, and need volunteer teachers in sewing and knitting. Basic skills are enough, and they are keen learners. Our teacher will also be there once or twice a week.
Please speak to Laura or Jennifer about this, or contact Hawa Del, their community worker, directly.
